Certificates offer members an alternative to the traditional savings account. Members are allowed to choose the type and term that best coincides with their financial goals. Each certificate requires a minimum deposit of $1,000. Terms vary in length from three to thirty six months.
IRA Savings
Begin planning for tomorrow, today, with an IRA (Individual Retirement Account). IRAs come in two categories – Traditional and Roth. The minimum required to open an IRA savings is $100. Dividends earned continue to compound and are tax exempt for most members until withdrawn at retirement.
IRA CDs
An IRA Certificate is an excellent way to earn higher yields on your savings, by keeping your money in the same account for a pre-determined amount of time. The minimum amount required to open an IRA CD is $1000. Dividends are paid quarterly and terms vary in length from 6 to 36 months.
