HOW DOES LASER HAIR REMOVAL WORK?

The LightSheer ^® laser produces a highly focused, intense beam of light that is absorbed by dark pigment in the hair follicles. The beam of light is converted to heat which then destroys the follicle. Hair must be in the active phase of growth in order to be destroyed. Multiple treatments are required for complete hair removal because not all follicles are active at the same time.

WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED?

Laser hair removal can be performed on all areas of the body including face, neck, underarms, chest, back, legs, arms, bikini area, nipples, ears and nose.

HOW MANY LASER HAIR REMOVAL TREATMENTS ARE NECESSARY?

Everyone is different and there are number of factors that can affect the success of a series of hair removal treatments. After each treatment, a noticeable reduction in the amount of hair regrowth is apparent. Typically, six treatments are necessary.
