ABOUT OUR PHYSICIANS

Mary Ana Cunningham, MD is a native of New Braunfels, Texas. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin and The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She completed a year internship at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin and a three year dermatology residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. In 2002 Dr. Cunningham opened Lakeway Dermatology & Skin Cancer Center in Lakeway, Texas. Dr. Cunningham specializes in cosmetic and surgical dermatology. She has extensive experience in BOTOX ® Cosmetic, injectibles for wrinkles, cosmetic laser treatments, and Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer. Dr. Cunningham is a board certified dermatologist and a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology. She is also a fellow of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.

Dr. Russell Peckham comes to U.S. Dermatology Partners after 14 years in the US Army. Most recently, he served as Chief of Dermatology at Fort Hood, Texas, where he provided highly skilled care in general and medical dermatology as well as skin cancer treatment. Board certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Peckham has been a practicing physician for over a decade.

Dr. Peckham completed his dermatology residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where he was selected chief resident. Prior to that, he achieved board certification in internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine after completing an internal medicine internship and residency at Brooke Army Medical Center and Walter Reed Army Medical Center respectively.

A Fort Worth native, Dr. Peckham did his undergraduate work at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Worth.

Dr. Peckham enjoys cooking and cycling and is excited to settle in Round Rock with his wife and their four children.

Nicolas Snavely, MD is an expert in the prevention, detection and treatment of skin cancer, as well as advanced reconstruction.

Dr. Snavely is a cum laude graduate of Cornell University, graduating with a Bachelors in Biology. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and went on to complete a dermatology residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia, where he served as chief resident his final year. Following his residency, he completed an advanced dermatologic surgery fellowship at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon, under accomplished surgeons Dr. Neil Swanson and Dr. Anna Bar.

Dr. Snavely grew up in Avon, Ohio, about 20 minutes west of Cleveland. He spent a good deal of his leisure time participating in sports – especially basketball. Dr. Snavely enjoys jogging, cooking, reading, and he still attempts to play basketball.
